Lately I have been coming across a lot of people who carry an “Air” about themselves
This struck a string of thoughts in my mind…..
It almost feels as though they live in a completely different planet altogether…
So ignorant and indifferent to things happening around…
As though the entire world is built around them.
They call it “Hot” just when the Air conditioner is running on a moderate temperature, whilst they forget that there are people who strive hard all day in the hot sun just to earn a meal.
They crib about the Traffic, sitting in their cars pretty much in their comforts and ignore the person knocking on their window trying to peek into their car begging for alms.
Just as they hold a senior position in a company, they begin to think that they hold the most important position in the world……
I really begin to wonder how narrow their thinking must be to actually begin to believe that they are “The important” people in the world….
How can people be so distant with reality…
If one is the MD/ ED/ VP or what so ever in a company, it is just the designation given to you by the company; now that position does not entitle you to rule the world or even be under the impression that you hold the same importance to the world as you step out of the company.
Their world revolves around their luxury cars, business class tickets and Business Hotels…..
On the other hand we have the “Real world” where even today people toil and struggle to manage to get one meal for the day. Don’t know where to run when it rains; don’t understand what the temperature is like while they are dripping in sweat……..
There is absolutely no synergy between the two classes, neither do either of them want to understand what the latter is all about….
Each one lives in their own world and in their own comfort zones, forget that there exists another world where things are not that simple and easy….
Where if one has a chauffer driven car, the other is walking their way to work; where one has variety of cuisines to choose from while the other manages with a morsel…….
Wonder where the world is leading to………..
People need to really realize that we are minuscule’s and less than significant in this universe which is next to infinite…………..
We are here to play our roles…
Let us stick to that and live in harmony with our fellow companions…..!!!
